I'm just feeling for anyone out there that might like a 15A...haven't had any problems what-so-ever with this sub running off of a BX1000d for nearly a year.

No aluminum backing. It's worked great for me though so far...if you become interested and want close up pictures of anything just let me know, I won't be able to get them until I go home for christmas vacation next weekend but I'll help you out with whatever I can.
