Yea if you take a audiocontrol Mic in the kick very possible...maybe on the old stick mic from the mid 90s ,but that depends on the whole install, but still doubt it
I seen 2 of those amps hit a 158.1 on the termlabi dont believe for a second 1000 watts with any amount of subs can hit 158. that guys worse than the craigslist people who are selling there sony xplods so they stop breaking their windows from too much bass.

Yep...Take a audiocontrol 180 adjust the sensitivity up and throw the Mic in the kick of a hatcback 158 is possible...but compare it to today's standards it only a 146-148ish in the kick which isn't that hard to believeWithout knowing what mic and more details about the actual install (and how it was metered) - it's impossible to really comment. The trophies would seem to indicate he's a competitor in some organization - but again, without more info - would be hard to accurately criticize.
I think it 'would' be safe to say it didn't do a 158 on the dash with TermLab though...
Hell, I've done a 162 in the kick with 3 10s and ~2000 watts on the old AudioControl. There's several variables there, how was the K-Factor set? When was the last calibration? Etc.... etc....
