1500d or 1800d

which would put out more power at 2 ohms the bx1500d or the 1800d? according to what ikesound says the 1500 actually puts out more power at higher impedances and i wouldn't mind saving, the 25 bones, space, and possibly current draw.
Then why don't you get an amp made to run full power @ 2ohms instead of wasting the extra power the hifonics can supply.

and possibly current draw.
How exactly did you plan on having less current draw when running more power?? Assuming the 1500 & 1800 are close to the same efficiencies, if the 1500 puts out more power @ 2ohm, then it's going to have more current draw.

1501=more money than the hifonics. it sounds like this guy is on a budget.

the 1500 is rated at 1000 where as the 1800 is rated at 900. to your ears and your cars electrical system the difference between the two amps at any ohm load is very small. save yourself some money, get the 1500.

actually i got a friend that would trade me a 1501d for my bx1000d but the reason why is that its a current hungry little bastard. it really doesn't matter because he has sold that idmax to someone already so what i'll probally do is just go ahead and finish sounddeading the car and finally do the big 3 upgrade and if thats not enough, buy a brahma 12 and maybe a nine.1 if the bx1000d doesn't push good enough
