thats cool man not saying you cant get 150.i seen people at db drag have1 18 get 179 alan dante i think is his name.you have to have the power and the setup to do it.if i put 3000 watts a piece on mine i would be alot louder.im am like you i aint runnin rms on these.and theya re loud.the arent even breaking a sweat with what im running on them.if i had a bigger alt would probably help.i hear caps can hurt in spl.

seeing as the world record is 181, I find it very hard to believe that someone can hit 179 with one sub, even an 18....I want to see proof, or a video

I won't say it is impossible... but I haven't heard anything like that off the top of my head...

itwas a 176 my bad alan dante last year at the db drag racing world finals in louisville ky.i was there 176 dbs with 4200 w rms into 1 sub dd 9917 dual 1,4ohms

read in the system descriptions in the linkyou gave it says one sub in 2006 4200 watts rms.he even one the deathmatch

FYI alex has the record with the 181. Very possible for him to do it with 2 18's, ive seen a 172 done with one 12.
