Ive never ran components off anything but the headunit before.
Since my components have their own crossover would I be able to run them as 2ch using the current crossover or do I need to run them as 4ch and run active crossovers for each speaker/tweet?
Iirc my components are rated at 4ohm. Does that mean that the woofer is 2ohm and the tweeter is 2ohm?
Im running Phoenix Gold RSD65cs. Id like to run 50-75w RMS to them, but I dont know which amps to buy or avoid. Im thinking a 100.2 would be perfect for just the components, or maybe a 75.4 which I could later bridge the other 2 channels to run a small 6.5 or 8" sub off of.
Im not looking for SPL or SQ. This is just my weekend/track car that Id like to actually be able to hear my music over my engine idling between runs, or when Im cruising around the streets with it. As of right now, Its decent, but still not quite loud enough to overcome my engine. If I could keep the price under $150 then Id be happy.
