I'm curious to try a diff box. I think it's 4.6 Db at peak frequency. Curious to try a 4cft tuned to 40-45. It peaks around 7 ish Db I think.

Ah, not many people seem to have the newer one. I think the new one is pimp, mainly the split coil design.

the 05's have a polished chrome like finish on the motor. the early 04's do not, they have that scratchy look or something. same motors really just different finishes.

I will eventually switch to an 06 or so.

Thx, it does sound great, just want more spl in the upper frequency range. Instead of changinf the box, I could throw an 8 " in the back parcel shelf. I think I might try that first though. I've tried it sealed, sounded decent, but lacked output.
