u guys got me scared to buy the xxx. there was so much hype about these when they first came out. seems to me that they didn't live up to it. Would it be safe to assume that a fi btl 15 would shhit on the xxx?

your talking about two completely different drivers....the xxx is usually used as a low end monster that sounds great....the BTL is a SPL driver that can also sound good

considering i said nothing about the fs of the woofer itself.
could have an fs of 45hz but still preform better in a box at 30.

i heard a 12" XXX off like 1500 and was not impressed....it was hooked up to a stock radio that kept turning off when he turned it loud tho
