i know... thats why i posted this, if it were easy i woulda done it already lol, not giving you a hard time but thats why i posted this, i consider myself "knowledgable" but i know theres a whole bunch of people on here who knows this better than me. im good with most brands but some of the more popular brands i still don't know shit about, sound splinter, rd audio, treo... im using it as an example but i know all 3 of those companies have great products just know nothing abot them, thats why i make posts like this, for someone to enlighten meit easy to get to mid 140's...it easy to get nice smooth responses and seamless transitions....its very difficult to do at the same time
theres another good one i didn't think ofdc level 4 sounds great off of 1000 but will take 1500 easy
have a couple in mind, saz1500 is my #1 choice, hifonics bxi1608d is my #2 choice and audiopipe ap1500 is my #3 choiceI wasn't very clear...they will take 2-3 k daily...but they shouldn't have ant more than that....I just wanted to say that they will do just fine off his power too
op- what kind of amp you using
i just started reading info on the alpha, it looks like a beast, but what do they go for? $$$Alpha would be your best bet...Q, Mag, Icon, etc are all great as well...
The Alpha is a beast...Gets lower then the HDC and just as loud on similar power...
both good ideas but i have a mouting depth issue less than 10" mounting depth, this is going in a truckre xxxre mx
any kind of numbers to share with us? how were the lows?I would suggest a Treo SSX. They will take more, but even on that power will still get loud and have good sq. The SSI will take 1200 - 1300 daily in the right box. Mine has been going strong on 1200 since may.
i know but its also a money thing, the audiopipe and the hifonics can be had for 220 new, where as i don't think i've ever seen a saz1500 or an aq2200 for less than 300, trust me i know they are better quality amps, but money is also a factor.I wouldn't do the hifonics, or audiopipe...there are more solif choices.
the sundown would be great...or maybe a AQ 2200 for the win
sorry i never saw this, budget would be 250$ or less, and used is NOT a problem lolthere are a ton of subs to choose from. budget is the question
