15" that gets loud and LOW off 1200-1500w? d2 ohm coils

Type R fits the bill...so does the L7
lol you were doing better when you suggested the Mag

when i said sounds good i was looking for like the Mag, the Q, the Icon... that caliber of sounds good, basically i want a SQ driver that'll hit mid 140's, as opposed to a SPL driver that sounds "alright"

well sinse SQ is entirely an opinion...its hard to know what you think is SQ. Honestly when you are talking mid 140's...SQ is not really a factor...its mostly just noise at that point

agreed, but i KEEP hearing if you don't have 2k watts its not even worth it...
wrong....people throw 2k to them easy....I'm throwing around 2400 to each...but they still do great off your suggested power...but personally that's all I would give them daily...hard to play them long without heating up...I suggest the hdc3 too

i think you read that wrong....he was suggesting he doesn't have ENOUGH power

yes its mostely just noise at that point, but i've playing slipknot or something thats got a double peddle bass drum in it, i wanna be able to tell... i want transients to be smooth and not over exagerated or muddy or missing entirely. i say mid 140's because i've been in a mid 140's vehicle and it was loud enough (like its ever loud enough) but i want the same volume, but i want it to sound good, not like "just noise"

now thats a side of that story i haven't heard before

it easy to get to mid 140's...it easy to get nice smooth responses and seamless transitions....its very difficult to do at the same time

I wasn't very clear...they will take 2-3 k daily...but they shouldn't have ant more than that....I just wanted to say that they will do just fine off his power too
