15" suggestions

three 15" subs around 1000 watts rms, very loud, no more than $500 a piece. this is for customer that has one 15" mtx 9500 and is wanting to go with three in a 94 s-10 blazer. i told him there are better subs. im suggesting fi. which are over $500 a pop. any suggestions.

sorry, but i have had a pair and they smoke easy with alot of SPL abuse (but then again im hard on equipment)

not in my top 10 of 15's that can take abuse.

Go 3 Qs for him.. assuming you meant 1000 each... That would be perfect. Not 500 a pop either. Actually fairly reasonable at 279 or 319.

so how much power do ya have to work with, 1000 or 3000. and its 500 per sub or 500 for all 3, also at what ohm load does your amp put out max power

I have a 15" tc3000 in as good as they come condition and can get another the same way for 300 each. An idk where roseville is but maybe we can meet up somewhere?

I agree with snoopdan, they are good subs and sound very desent. ALTHOUGH, will not stand up to SPL abuse at all, you will fry the voice coil in a heartbeat. Some good subs that will take alot of abuse are Memphis M3154d's make sure you run thme mono at 1 OHM and you will hit in the 150's with the right box, keep me posted and goodluck
