I would definitely go with some 15", in fact I still might, but the room is a big issue...

Yep, my 12"s were loud as hell, but this 1 15" just blows them away. and i especially love how deep the 15"s and 18"s hit (never heard an 18, but i assume they hit deeper than a 15), Just the feeling of the bass is worth the extra displacement, and $$$.

i was going to go w/ an XXX, but i'm more than happy w/ the HC, and more than happy w/ the amount that i paid for it.

how come you like the H/C, just out of curiosity, I'm not to worried about the cost, RE quoted a price of 435 shipped[ not until July //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif ] but that is the same price I would have paid for two l7s, and with the limited space I have to work with a XXX would be so much better.

are you more sq or spl?

yeah if i had the room i would go with a 15 inch lol but i have a stand. cab ranger that would be hard to do

I like the HC because it's loud. It hits deep, not very clean (i don't have enough power, i suppose), but it's just loud IMO. I'm sure that the XXX would be louder, i wanted to get an XXX, but I found the HC for a price that i couldn't pass up. That's the only reason i didn't get the XXX.
