Also, can his sundown scv 2000 be run at 0.5 ohm?

I wish I could meter by setup but his goal is to get louder than me lol.

Well I talked to him this morning and he is now wanting to get his electrical right. It's going to cost him like $1400 between alternator and amp.
I'm thinking at this point it isn't worth it to do all that. It's just a daily driver, he doesn't compete. Should he cut his loses with the FI and grab a different sub or upgrade his electrical to get the fi moving?

I have a feeling we can get him where he wants to be with a higher sensitivity sub and about 1000 less dollars.

soundqubed HDC3 and he should be pretty happy. The SCV should handle .5 ohms daily fine if you have proper electricals. Or you can get a banda 5k or taramps 5k

Try out his sub/box in your car. You have the right electrical and the m3c, correct? See if it reaches potential with that.

Good lookin out fellas. Yes I have electrical and m3c in my car so we will see how it does in my there.

If it gets as going how he wants it we'll work toward proper electrical for him. If not we'll look into something like the hdc.3. Looks like it's on sale now too.
