i found some 15" sdr35 pipe that i want to use for an enclosure, but didnt know if it will work, it will hold 46 psi if pressurized but im going to use an external 6" aeroport on it so it wont be

My buddy made an enclosure out of 15" pvc and filled it with some concrete. pretty solid. Many street competitors use pvc enclosures with 6" aeroports out the back.

Do you have any idea how a ported enclosure works? Have you noticed that the cone doesn't move much at and around tuning? That's due to a large amount of pressure being built up in the enclosure. There IS pressure in a ported box.
