Well, i got a guy that is gonna sale me his mofo for 150 bucks already in a ported box.. is this a good deal.. do they hit hard.. what amp would you guys suggest?

I would suggest not investing money in any power acoustik sub.

They are alright, I heard one in a sealed box sounded sloppy but got somewhat loud.. Your probably better off getting a Memphis PR or Type R if you have $200 to drop

Well, i currently have 2 12's Kicker Comps in a box atm... which are ok loud for right now they are in my girlfriend ford escape... but im gonna be buying a Tahoe here soon and wanted some major bass hehe

they aren't the worst sub around. they get loud. built fairly decent. built to satisfy people who want to get loud. for most people, they're fine. the majority of people aren't looking for sq, concerning subs.

From what people have told me, there good bang for the buck. But I don't have any personal experience with one cause everyone in my area is all about pioneer, kenwood, eclipse, jl, and kicker. So I can't tell you how they are.

But I can recommend some other cheap 15's that are good.

But with ebay you don't get a warranty through the company that makes the product cause it's usually used.

I'm sorry but I'd much rather pay 15-25% more for a product that has a warranty then paying less for something that doesn't.

well, about 200-250 bucks on the sub... and then whatever kind of amp i need to power it... im leaning towards alpine Type R's now.. but dunno quite yet

Ya but 9 times out of 10 the company wont cover your warranty due to the sub being abused!
