15" Orion H2 vs Sound Splinter RL-P 15"??

H2's have to have a PERFECT enclosure to acheive their potential. I had a 12" in an enclosure that a local shop built for me, and it didn't perform as well as I thought it would. I got someone on here to make me some plans, and found out the I had way to much port area. Never built the new enclosure since I got a 12" XXX. I would say go with the RL-P. Unless, you wanna buy my 12" H2 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ... I'll sell it for $175+shipping

the H2 requires a great deal more power than the RL-p, trust me I own both subs
i got 2 2000x and the power to run them.... how do the sound splinter work in a 2.5 cubic ft box? how does the sound splinter compare to the orion h2's? which would get louder in a 2.5 cubic ft enclosure?

SoundSplinter recommends 2.5 - 3.5 cubs for the 15. The RL-p will do well with 1000 watts to it, but not too much more. The Orion excelles in my aplication at 3.0 cubes at 33hz and about 2500 watts.

The RL-p and H2 are differently directed subs, the H2 being Orions flag ship sub that can have tremendous output with decent SQ. Where as the RL-p is not the top end Sound Splinter sub, it is meant to be a great daily SQ sub that gets loud. Both will be loud to the ear, but when pressed I think the H2 will be louder on the mic. The H2s really should have 2000+ watts per sub, where the RL-ps do not need that much, and would not like it either.

Either choice is a good one, honestly, just need to figure out which way you want to go.

well i have 4 15" strokers now the older ones, but i wanna have my back seat so i wanna upgade not down grade the strokers don't sound the same in a 2.5 cubic ft box
