15" Kicker L7

Yesterday I was in the city looking to buy some 15" L7 2006 models, so I went to a couple of car audio stores and they all said the same thing about the kicker subs. They said that the voice coils were set up like shit and that in the matter of 2 weeks the voice coils ripp out from the sub bc of so much bass, they said it was designed like shit and it will break in the matter of 2 weeks. Agreed, bullshit. I havent had/heard the new ones, but when i had them is 03 they were awsome subs..Get nasty loud..

I guess its bullshit bc I've heard of a lot of ppl on this site who had the L7's and so such problem. He said it was my choice but he was just letting me know about that which is bullshit and he was going to gimme the pair for 500, but all he had was the 4 ohm subs so I guess ima go back when hes got more in stock. He was trying to sell me some Audiobahn Eternals for 375 a piece but ima stick wit the kickers.

Eternals and Immortals aren't that bad of a sub.

I'd still go with kicker because I love mine!

agreed. utter bullshit. that shop was trying to sell you something worse than L7's.

and for 375 each that's a ****ing rip (for audiobling, but jl is expensive too). a pair of L7's for $500 is pretty good.

tell the guy he's an idiot and needs to give himself a swirly and then kick em in the nuts very very hard and tell him to have a nice day.
