Hes going to end up in a situation with a ton of rise, and deliver no power to the sub.

Neo rises alot as is. Going shy on port area isnt going to help the rise factor any

Oh really? vs. traditional subs? That's interesting. Which is weird because I know neo is more $$. Less weight for a driver but has more rise factor involved. Guess you can't have both sides of the world. It's either one or the other.

No one needs smart ***** trying to help them. If I didn't want help I wouldn't have asked. Just because I'm not spending 300 to have someone build a box doesn't mean it's impossible for me to build one

It doesn't matter if it's a bit smaller or bigger then 4cu..
Just find a good design that will get you the right tune you want for the size that work with the aeros you have.

Just know 4cu and smaller will need way more power to really get you going if you don't do a good size box for it.
