brand new, just got it today. I had this sub box custom built for a 15" xcon d2.

this was my first time to order a sub box and since I'm an idiot I measured the inside of the trunk, not the outer area, and so the sub box doesn't fit.

I'd prefer to sell this to somebody locally in Dallas but, I'll ship if I have to.

Price:

I bought this for $220+ I'll sell it for $100.

Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information:

I think it will cost about $30 to ship. If it's less I'll refund you when I get back from the UPS store, if it's more, I'll cover it. I can scan the receipt for you if necessary.

God I would have been sick once I found out it wouldnt fit... Good thing u got a man like Dustin to help you out.

LOL same here I have a massive trunk but a very small opening... Anything over 3cf has to be built inside my trunk which blows but the good thing is 3 sa-8's require just a tad under 3cf...

**** i was freaking out today, thought i had to go through all kinds of bs ship my sub back, get a 12, order a new 12" custom box. I figured nobody would buy this box from me since it's a custom size. But, I just spoke with Dustin and he's going to work it out with me. Really appreciate him going out of his way, saving me a lot of money and frustration.

I don't know if I can delete this thread or not but, the box isn't for sale, going to swap it with Dustin.

yeah I would still be pissed off if it wasn't for him can't thank him enough. they ripped me off at the car audio shop and i still had to pay just for them to screw in the sub and try to put the box in, they said it wasn't their fault and while they're right. it's not dustin's fault either but, he's willing to work it out. i'm never going back to that shop. that pretty much set me off earlier in the day, i'm not as stressed now.

Thanks guys, we are keeping the 15 it looks like just altering the design a bit and doing a slot port setup(gives more port area too). We are just going to meet up and swap out enclosures in the next week or so. After that I'm not sure what I will do with this one..might sell it or may just toss it in storage with a few others haha.

The shop charged you just to say hey, it won't fit? That is just crazy to imagine. Sorry to hear they did that.

Well I went to the shop with the box, sub and a new amp. I wanted them to replace the amp, put the new sub into the sub box and put it in the car and connect it. They said everything would cost $60. Although they were only able to replace the amp. So, I mean like I said it wasn't there fault either I guess I just thought they would have realized my frustration and not charge me for screwing in the sub and trying to put it in and say since they could only replace the amp maybe it would have cost a little less. I didn't say much but, when I walked in I was like, "they only replaced the amp" and then he was like, it's still the same price since it's not his fault and that he should be charging me for removing the sub out of the box as well. I asked them to unscrew it out since I couldn't do anything with it in the box.

so basically I thought the work for the sub, screwing it in and connecting it to the amp was a separate cost from replacing the amp. I guess it was all the same price. I had offers from some mobile installers to do it for $40 and come to my place. Should've gone with them, guess I forgot about it at the time.

Well when we meet up I can help you with with a few things if needed. No reason to pay for that stuff since all your wires are ran already and it is fairly easy to deal with.

**** that would be awesome! i'm sure i'd have a hell of a drive back if the sound system is working, would be a good way to break in the system a couple hours of non-stop pounding bass lol
