Okay, sorry, that was a post and run.
The vehicle in question is a Ford Escort Station Wagon. The Porsche wont be done till August.
The amp in question has now changed: It's the Clarion DPX100.2. 1000 watts (give or take, prolly like 500-600 rms). The other one ended up in my friend's 'Burban. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
I listen to generally everything. Metal (mostly), rap, jazz, techno, 80's whatever suits the mood.
THe setup i have now is literally painful. I would like something that will hit hard when it has to, but will have good all round SQ, and won't sound corrosive, sloppy and metallic like the one I have now. I am pretty much done ruining my eardrums.
I have anywhere from 2 cubes to 10+ cubes. The lighter the better, so i was thinking 3 or four cubes ported at about 28 htz should work nicely. I am going to probably attempt to fiberglass it somewhat, just for the experience.
