not sure how people around this forum like hifonics or not but my experiences with them have been nice and they are relatively cheap for a decent amp.

hifonics BXi1206D if you have dual 2 ohm

hifonics BXi1606D if you have dual 4 ohm

The 1606 is 1ohm stable, do you think its to much power

if you have a dual 4 ohm sub and you wire the voice coils in parallel then you'd get a 2 ohm load. if you wire a sub at 2 ohms to a 1 ohm stable amp, you're only going to be getting the power the amp pushes at 2 ohms. and the 1606D gives you enough power at 2 ohms for a dual 4 ohm sub.

I have the dual 2 ohm i think i'm going to get the 1606 because i might want more power later on and keep the gains down for now.

will the rockford be .7 ohm stable and no over heat also i heard hifonics had over heating problems

like i said, some people don't like hifonics. mine doesnt over heat but its out in the open. friends hifonics doesnt overheat under his seat. personal preference i guess. its not crappy, there's just the people who dont like them.

fosgate amps are pretty nice still. bit more $$ but still nice.

I agree, but to many people think they put out there rated power, and fact is they dont. Your paying for a fake number. Yeah there ok amps, but I much rather spend a couple more dollars and get something else. IMHO. Im not trying to say everyone should think like that, but I do. I see you pay for what you get.

I'm well aware of that. I'm getting a Fi.Q in Nov wanting to push 1000w to it. my amp is "rated" at 1200w at 1 ohm. (I have the hifonics 1206D). so it should push just about perfectly for the Q. but the amps are a cheaper alternative to get a decent amount of clean power.

hifonics is a definite upgrade from the audiobahn crap I had before (I got my amp for free after returning 3 audiobahn amps that randomly died or were dead right out of the box).

what model the for the planet audio bb 1250.1 or different. Also does that rockford have on board fuses.

how does the rockford have a 150A fuse built in the amp because most rockfords i seen have no fuse on them
