Huh?1.4 = .7 I have specifically talked to someone about this.
If you parallel a dual 1.4ohm, you get .7ohm
Likewise, if you series dual .7ohm, you get 1.4ohm

Jesus ******** christ. It's not that hard to understand.well wtf - THE GROUP BUY IS FOR DUAL 1,2,4 COILS. As stated before by someone are you saying the Dual 1s are actually 1.4? - because someone told me specifically the GROUP BUY IS FOR TRUE DUAL 1,2,4!
ok... and the 12"s are 385....the 15 is $400 and the 18 is $425 - I was just wondering (The subs are TRUE dual 1,2, or 4) so its .05 or 1 ohm - so im pretty sure im gonna get an 18 MT with dual 1 coils - and yes i know how to wire it.

385 + 15 = 400 or 15" MT
385 + 40 = 425 or 18" MT

I would say completely unnecessary but if you insist....go ahead. AVS20 has both of his MT 18's in 12 cubes, I have my MT 18 in 6 cubes, and Steve Meade runs his in 5 cubes per 18. Just some food for thought.18 MT //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/drool.gif.b5e863e893038027711d4402f340dad0.gif hows 10 ft^3 tuned to 30hz sound? with 2200 RMS?
if you read he said RE coils are not exactly what they say and i have noticed this with my XXX and SX, they are right at 1.5 in parallel, so i was trying to figure out if there was a better one to give me all the powerNo offense intended at all, I'm no expert //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. But if ya dont even know how to wire a dual 4 to 1 ohm, I prolly wouldnt pick an mt up at this point.
But wouldn't it be louder in lets say 8 cuft(thats the most i'd give one) over 6cuft with the same power/tune?I would say completely unnecessary but if you insist....go ahead. In my application, bigger just simply didn't translate into louder. Larger vehicles, such as SUV's, can GENERALLY get away with larger enclosures, but small hatchbacks like mine simply don't need a big box.But wouldn't it be louder in lets say 8 cuft(thats the most i'd give one) over 6cuft with the same power/tune?
