And for the people who doubt Mag's, just go to a competition with someone who has one. That's all that's really needed. Scott, Dustin, Loyd, Hollis, Kevin, and a bunch of other people have already proved themselves in the lanes. I love 12's great sounding woofers to me they are liek the median between punchy 8 and 10 's and low 15's and 18's . To me they do everything all around but thats IMO.

Someone give me some insight on these magnums.How r these things.I mean i know alot of people are buying them but are they really that great or are they part of the forum hype?What do these speakers compare to?How do they compare to say a 12w6v2 jlaudio?Im just wondering as i can find anything bad written about them.

Alot of people compare them to the RE's XXX , ED 12A , Crystal CMPX2 , DD's any of the super woofers out there . I havent had the chance to hear the persoanlly just yet but from all the guys i spoke to who have either heard them or own them . They are well worth every penny and peform liek a dream .

I've heard the W7's and the the version 1 W6's and from what im hearing and my personal opinion i think they will out perform the w6's hands down.

Really...thats a pretty bold statement...the 12w6v.2 sounds pretty decent.Thinking about picking up 2 12w6v2s or 2 magnums....but again thinking....still need more opinions on these magnums.

dj fury: the W6v2's arent in the same league as mags. perhaps a better comparison would be with the W7.

havoc and electrodynamic: how would you compare a 12D2 ported and tuned low and a 15 sealed? not really looking for response regarding output (i know both will get sickeningly loud) but more with sq. particularly the lows. thanks

I've been reading up on XBL^2 technology and it seems it has the adavantages of giving the motor more linear throw but in most cases daily drivers wont need that much excursion unless ur in the competition lanes trying to muster every last DB, which im not sayign the Mag cant keep up with the XXX just the XBL^2 gives it a slight edge in competition but from what i hear the mag makes up for that edge in SQ and it also is less power hungry .
