So here's the situation. I can get Two DC Level 4 subs and put it into this box:

With a total power of 2400 watts rms.

Or I can buy a 15'' Fi BTL Fully loaded and have the buy at .soundsolutionsaudio.com build me a new box.

Again, same power, 2400 watts rms.

This is going into a trunk enclosure of a 99 Camry XLE.

Trunk space is looking like: 16"tallx40"widex26"deep

Ideas on what will be louder and sound better?

I still have no idea what size box I should use for the 15'' Fi BTL, so if you can suggest a box that would be good too!

get the btl, put it in 3 - 3.5 cubs and tune around 33-35Hz.

mine is in 3cubs @ 33hz and it impresses me daily. if you put in 45 degree angle cuts in the port corners and have the box built solid youll be surprised how nice that woofer will sound....while getting stupid loud.
