So you're saying the coat of resin after the one that cracks will not crack? I know Steve Meade had said that adding some fiberglass mat would be a better route to go, but if you believe the top layer won't crack then that is what I'll do. Let me know what you think.yes i resined the whole inside of the box. put the box on its corners and poured resin into the corners then it cracks then u just add a layer over the top of that and ur done.
why??...what db's did you hit? with the 4 SSX'si sold 2 and waiting on the money and im selling my other 2.
it all is preference. the only reason it cracked in the first place because the top hardens faster than the bottom so the boyttom was still hot. if u do layers at a time in the corners and not just pour alot down it will take more time but will work without it cracking. and ive yet to hvae any problems with mine full tilt so id say what i did is working just fine.
i did the 150 with the driver side door open on the dash. i dont meter in the kick because it means nothing to me. i might do it messing around but numbers in the kick arent my style LOL
