143.3 at the headrest in S2

yeah they'll definitely be louder than what you have. but if only you could fit more batts or a bigger alt then more power would get you louder

cone area + fusing

so i would probly be in a silly loud class

What would you suggest as far as length..
Whatever it takes to get the desired tuning.

The only problem is that when you increase port area given the same amount of airspace, the ports have to be longer to maintain the same tuning.

Odds are you'll have to build a bigger box to compensate for the airspace the bigger (and longer) ports will take up.

If you were serious about competing, you could easily run your setup in a low street class, probably S2 or S3.

i mean i can change my fusing. i have a standard street setup up. no mods to vehicle other then adding batteries. stock alt. and i could drop fusing. because i know with the 175a anl id be in a pretty high class

Yep, that would put you in Street 4.

Drop a 150 ANL in there and it moves you to Street 3.

If you're brave you could try a 60 amp ANL and that would put you in Street 2. Might be possible with that amp. I ran a zx2500 @ 1 ohm in S2.

My brother got a 147.6db at his last competition he used 2x 15" Power Acostic Mofo's on an audiopipe AP-30001D. He was getting around 146.3db until he added a 2nd battery a kinetik hc2400.

Thats what I was thinking Tommy. I just cant do a bigger box now.
SPL competition isn't for everybody.

But if you ever change your mind, feel free to ask questions. Hatches are easy to get loud. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just know that the fuse used for classification has to be within 18" of your sub amp.

Oh, and for street class your enclosure (and anything attached to it) has to be below the top of the backseat, not including the headrests.
