140 amp alternator....

I don't think you will have any issues, although if it's the original alternator you may push it over the edge. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif If it was new, I don't think you would have anything to worry about.

i plan on getting a capacitor just to help with the voltage drop. Its not a new alternator but it performs quite well with what i have right now. 2 alpine type e pushing about 500 watts rms into both of them. only a little bit of headlight dim once in a great while.

i was thinking about doing that but there is absolutly no room in my engine bay to do any of that. my batttery is underneath the back seat, i cant access my alternator. nightmare waiting to happen. wont a cap help at all?

A small audio battery will be just as cheap as a cap and many times better. I don't think you will have to much trouble anyway. My 60 amp Honda alt is running 2 1000 watt amps at a half ohm and charging 2 kinetik 1800's right now. For how long who knows though lol...
