High, I own a Scion Tc and I've got a question about windows. I want to put a 13w7 and a slash 1000/1 in the trunk. I was told this much power can cause a problem with the windows. Will the windows really break, or is this just bs?

Thats what i thought, but i was just checking. I mean, you have to hit a window really hard with a bat just to get it to break.

you might get some dimming with that power. just do the big 3 and you should be fine. ho alt and yellow top battery if it's more extreme.

first tell us what amp you'll be using to power the mids and highs. then find out how many amps your vehicle's alt is rated at. if you do the "big three" and you still have problems then it's time to think about an aftermarket alt.

Well i'm not sure. I love JL!!! what would you recommend. I don't know much about speakers, but i know i don't need anymore bass.

windows break at about 155-160+ db so you will be ok

why do i love jl, i had a 10w7 in my F150, and it shook the cars around me! No problems, excellent sound quality. I mean, if something else is better for speakers, i don't mind, but i know the JL W7 is one of the best subs.

They do sound pretty good, but there getting a bit outdated. I think it's time for the w7v2.

I own the same equipment you are speaking of.

13W7 on a 1000/1

Dont switch for anything, you'll love the SQ/SPL out of that setup. Mine is ported as per spec and I absolubely love it, and ive had many, many subs/amps. This one is great SQ, and it gets loud as fcuk!

As for the person that said the W7 is outdated smokes a little too much ganja... How can ANY great sounding subwoofer or any audio product be 'Outdated"
