Anyone on this forum have alot of experience with this sub? I'm planning on building a ported enclosure for it, but I don't trust JL's specs on thier website for a ported enclosure. There are plenty of people here in town that have attempted to build a ported JL Audio 13W7 enclosure to the exact specs of http://www.jlaudio.com and they all sound like poo poo. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

are you trying to mimic that H.O. box? that is a pretty complicated box. other than that, i am not sure why you wouldn't trust their specs... i don't think they want their boxes to sound like crap.
