w7 is one teh best sq subs out there. but if your lookin for sounds quality go sealed at least that way u would still have some boom when u wanted it

just researching harder and the w7 is 1.5 or 3 ohms correct, if so 13.5 w6 it is

and isn't it better to over power then under power

Actually thats where your wrong! Your comparing a 13w6v2 to a 12 w7 @600 watts. The overall output of them both would be very close with that power. Yes the w7 can handle more power, but the w6 shines off less power. It would actually be rather close. I actually think that the w6 13 would have better performance overall over the w7 with only 600 watts. I say if your only going to run 600 watts, then just go with the 13 w6, because w7s tend to like much more power than that.

Where do you get off saying this. The jl representatives have even stated them selves that they consider the w6 as their flagship sq sub, and I must agree hearing them both on a daily basis.

yeah id say that W7's are nice, if i didnt blow em 3 times, JL's ****. there amps on the other hand are fantastic. the 1000/1 was pure power

Well if you blew them 3 times ide say that was user fault. Gain settings

If you are only going to run 600 rms i would say the w6, you would be closer to getting the full potentiol out of the w6 with 600. On the other hand, the w7 would be wanting more and you wouldn't be close to getting ful potential out of a w7 with 600 watts

you would say that but nope definitely not. i just think they ****. ive seen two others in other peoples cars that the cone has cracked and what not.
