13W6 or 10W7

Hey guys im bout to buy one of these subs and i was wondering which do you guys think would be louder in a ported box ran with a rockford fosgate t600-2 amp?? 13W6 (dual 4ohms) 10W7 (3ohm) thanks

13w6 because of cone area

edit: if your goal is purely getting loud, you may want to try a different subwoofer than the JLs you listed

power wise a 13w6 but i would also go with something other than JL's

it has about the same surface area as a 12w7.

The 13w6v2 will sound a ton better, If I was buying either one of these to use, I wouldn't be worried about how loud they got, but rather how good they will sound

i had a 10w7 and loved it. got loud while never missing a note. i'd recommend it.

i might sell mine, but i kind of want to keep it just in case i buy another car. pm if you become serious about one. GL

in a ported box the 13w6 vs 10w7 the box size for thwe 10in is like 40% smaller so you could prob go 2 10's in a sealed box or ever 2 10's in a ported box and get about the same sized box as the w6 13
