ok im goin tomorw to pick up either a pair of 12" type'rs or cvx, or a pair of 13w3v2's, there gona be in arlund 3.5 cubid feet ported to 32 hz, in a small vehical, which setup for more sq ans which for over all out put the amp is gona be a e1800d by jl, thanks i could also add a third 13w3v3

best sq would be the w3's, more spl the cvx's, and overall better mix sq/spl would be the r's. in that size box/ amp i'd say the w3's, maybe the r's even though i'd give the r's alot more power than what that amp does.

based it off i used to have both w3's and type r's. both brands 12", used them in single sealed/single ported, dual sealed/dual ported. and have heard many, many cvx installs. given equal install to all i firmly believe what i original stated.

thats fine.. theres just a lot of people who would stereotype these subs before theyve really heard them.. especially that one is a kicker, one is a jl, and the other is a type r
