how would a 12xxx do in the trunk of a camry daily? im gonna run the recommended rms to it and its gonna be ported, i need some opinions for people with 12xxxs

I dunno but hearing a 15 XXX in a 4^3 box makes me want to jump out of the car. Way to loud for me.

he meant if it would be good as a daily driver (as opposed to an spl/burp/competition driver).

to the orig. poster, i have a xxx15 in a snail shell with a bx1500d (about 1300-1400 watts) and im honestly only using it to like a 1/8 of its full potential and its really, really loud. i can only imagine what it is like hearing it to full or near full xmax on around 2000 watts...yikes..

I loved my 15 xxx, camry have fold down seats? if so it'll be insane. The XXX is a great daily driver, if ya like that much bass.

the 15 XXX I hear is running off a 2500D. Yes you can use a XXX for daily driving no problem I just hope you like bass. lol

those are internal specs. if you are going to build a ported box with over 120 sq. in. of port area, you add that plus driver and brace displacement and you have a box that covers about 10 cubes.

i know how to nuild boxes, AND im telling you can fit a 7.5cuft of external dims after all displacements in a camry.
