How do you know how much power an amp will give at 3ohms if all you have to go by is the rating at 2ohms and 4ohms? Say if the amp puts out 700rms@4ohms and 1000rms@2ohms would a good guess be 850@3ohms?
Just take the average of the 2 and 4-ohm ratings...

If you get the jl, and the pg xenon amp, then they will put out full power at 3 ohms. 1kw+

 
Also what gauge power and ground wire will be needed to run a 1000/1, or something similar to that? I have 4 gauge ran for my current setup, will that work or will i have to upgrade?

 
run 0/1 gauge from the distro block too the amp, you'll need it if you want all that power to actually come. you also might want to invest in a powercap or some kind of system so your battery can recover from the pounding its going to take

Is that like a capacitor or what? ANy other suggestions on things i will need?
