Application will be sealed, 2.75^3 net for the W7's or 2.5^3 net for the W6's. Power will be around 1000 wrms for the W6's or 2000 wrms for the W7's. Trunk car BTW..... oops, also two subs per application. I know its kinda apples to oranges with the power differences but i would want to take advantage of the extra handling limits of the W7 if thats the way to go. So.....think its worth the extra dollars to go for the W7's? Obviously not an SPL setup btw.......

If it is NOT for SPL then the W7 is not the way to go for SQ. The W6 is a excellent SQ driver they can get very load as well. My choice since I am SQ oriented is obviously W6.

interesting...i've heard W7's ported and thought they sounded great. Never heard them sealed tho.

Both are very capable drivers in the SQ arena.

Personally though, I prefer the sound of the W6v2. In a situation where the extra output of the W7 isn't a necessity, that would be my driver of choice.

The w6v2 is one of the most capable drivers I have heard/dealt with to date. They are simply amazing... I would take the dub6v2 over the dub7 any day for any application.

I'm running a ported 13w7 and it sounds very nice. But i tihnk 2 12w6s would be plenty of output so i say w6s. This frees up some money you can spend on some awesome comps or something.

Nice, be sure to give those pro 60s hella power...my amp only puts out about 100x4 and they sound nice but they need so much more

i've had the w6's before..10's and 12's but i never sealed em up. only going sealed due to space designs of my trunk.

personally if you had the cash to use i'd go with the w7's. they are great drivers and just because you have 2000 watts doesn't mean you need to use it. if you ever have the desire to, you can up the wattage going to the w7's.
