OK in my trunk i have 2 12w6v2 and a jl 500/1 amp(for now). The guy that had it before me has it wired VC2 positive and negative are connected to eachother, nothing is on vc1, and then the main positive and negative were hooked to the box. i was wondering what ohm load this was, and if there was a hook up that wound be better(make it louder). I need to know the OHM because I'm trying to set the gains right. I was thinking something like this would be better http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_4-ohm_mono.jpg since the 500/1 is a mono amp. please anyone that can help me i would appreciate it. thank u //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you want to wire each sub in series, then parallel the pair of subs. it will yield a 4 ohm mono load.

VC1(-) connected to VC2(+) on each sub. then parallel the input terminals inside the box. Diagram A in the owner's manual.
