actually that was my audiobahn 8001d firing my w3'sv1 (very well). but the 501bd drove my jbl's insane. w/age comes memory loss. ask around though.
I'm guessing because it is the original source material //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif As long as the amp (and subsequently speakers) properly reproduced it, it simply would be the source material. How isn't it distortion ?
lol correct and yes it was retarded but technically correct lolI'm guessing because it is the original source material //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif As long as the amp (and subsequently speakers) properly reproduced it, it simply would be the source material.
is wrong in its entireity (sp). Giving your drivers insufficient power is just that...you can send 15 watts RMS to something and as long as the gains are set right, it doesn't matter if the driver is rated to 100 watts. Again - anyone wanting to debate this point can listen to my 2 watts @ 5% THD and note how the speakers don't blow. Clipping is different than low power. What does happen is that people that don't know any better try to get every last ounce of power from their amp and push it past its limits - that will kill speakers.3. I like cheese.give your subs insufficient power=clipping=distortion=bad
