12W0 vs 12W1v2

i strongly disagree, i had 2 12w0's for about 2 years running off of my opti 500.2 in my womans car so i decided to try the w1v2's out. i bought a pair from a dealer for 230$ put them in the w0 box and didnt change anything else, they only lasted for about a week so i took them back and got a refund. i would take a used w0 over a new w1v2 anyday.

Tru... Now if this was w0 vs w1v1... it would be a little more difficult for me to choose the w0.

Dont do it......call any authorized JL audio rep and he will tell you the W1 is an improvement over the WO in every possible way. Whatever these guys are telling you is bullshit. Call JL audio directly.

You must have hooked something up wrong, or had defective subs. Ive been pounding my W1 in a ported box for well over 2yrs and its loud and deep for any entry level sub. The WO doesnt sound nearly as strong or low in my opinion. My brother inlaw has a WO in his car and he could not agree with me more.

If anything I have said in comparison between the two subs build and quality wise is untrue, prove me wrong. The W1 is a better built sub with newer technology and it has a higher thermal power handling. And for $10 more, in my opinion you are getting a much better subwoofer WITH a warranty.

Its all subjective.....one person may like the WOs sound better, another may like the W1.

The only reason this is even an issue is the W0's rocked.. If they sucked, no one would care.

I haven't heard the W1's, but my 10w0's rocked back in the day. I would get them again in a second... Well worth the money.

FYI.................sound quality is subjective......Ive heard both and like the W1 better personally.

Like i said, i haven't heard the W1's yet... i have nothing to compare it too... my point is:
