12V or 14V on MRV-F340

I have an Alpine 7995 pushing an MRV-F340 amp. The amp can do 35W X 4 on 12V or 55 watts RMS X 4 on 14V.

Components: Excelon Xr61P (180 watts RMS)

Rear 6X9: Excelon 6998 (300 watts)

How can I set amp to 14V? Is it advisable?

Your car electrical system is 12V when the engine is off, and 14V when it's running. They're just telling you that the amp puts out more power with the engine on.
