ok so what would you do with a 1400 watt amp for a compettition stereo, 4 12" mtx 9500's or 2 15" mtx 9500's, what do you think would sound better and be louder, and what kind of bat cap should i get, some oppinions pleaseeee.

There is no way your gonna power 4 MTX 9500s with a 1400 watt amp

nix the cap. are you stuck on mtxs? those 2 options, as previously stated, arent great for that amount power.

you could easily put that much power and then some on each sub. i think he means the bat cap branded batteries, not a capacitor.

What kind of amp? If its a true 1400rms, and you want the 9500's, a single 15 would work well. If you want to run 4 9500's you'll need something like a memphis 4kw.

well i was talking to some one and they said in compitittion they put you into a class based on the power of your amp, and he said that 4 12's on a 1400 watt amp would prob do good, i am not really stuck on mtx but i like the sound for the money, i was looken at 8500s too, but i mean most of you guy prob know alot more than me, and yes i was talken bout the bat cap battries,

so i mean i got mix replys, i dont want to spend 8 million dollers, i have a 1400 watt autotek and 2 mtx 12" 7500's, and i am looking to upgrade so i can maby compete in some compititions or some then, but i really just want it to be redickulously loud

are fi audio subs really that good, i mean like are there replacement parts like what is going to be the very best quality to money ratio when it comes to subs, and could i power 2 12" fi's with 1400 watts and a extra battery

for the money id get 2 18" Fi BLS imho it would slam harder than ur previous options expecially on the power that u have. plus you would save TONS of money so u can use it towards ur new box/electrical you get the picture. Ive personally owned the 18" Fi BL so i know what they can do so im talking threw experience, not for what ive heard.

thats assuming u can get the proper air space but hell u said u was gonna run 4 12s so i assumed u had enough space. roughly10-16 cubes. in ur situation the bigger box would work better for u with the small amount of power that u have.

well i dont want to totaly take up my entire trunk and i like the 12's i just dont know waht to get there is so many options and im kinda new.
