Agreed. Unless it's a tiny speaker/sub, don't use anything less than 3/4". If you absolutely had to use .5" just made sure you brace it well. Dowels work well.on a R with good power I wouldnt use less than 3/4 unless its a tiny box with like 300w
if you can, double up everything and you won't need to buy 3/4"i have just picked up some brackets, nails and glue so hopefully that should work, if it doesnt then ill make a new one out of 3/4inch.
You can either glue the two baffles together and clamp them until they dry or glue them and screw them together.Box Dimensions are:Width 19inch

Question, how did u attach the 2 pieces together to make it 1 inch? just glue with some nails spread through the middle and surrounding sides, or something more complicated?
