Which should i get for ultimate sound quality

1 12in brahma

2 12in shivas

Also i plan to run whatever i get off a jl 500/1

is it ok to run a brahma off 500/1?

also are there anyother SQ subs you reccommend that are BETTER then the adires

I've heard a pair of Infinity Perfects with a JBL 600.1 in a sealed box and it had really really good SQ. Although you can't really find the perfects for much under $170:rolleyes:

Strictly from a sound quality standpoint, the Brahma is vastly superior in car. On the same hand, you can nearly outdisplace two shivas with a single Brahma at the same time, and take up about 1/3rd of the space as the two shivas.

There is nothing wrong with the Shiva's in-car, but comparing tonal accuracy and overall response, the Brahma beats them with minmal effort.

If I was in your position...I would get the single 12" Brahma:)

I guess other SQ subs that are "up there" would be ID's IDMAX(one of my favourites), Eclipse's Titanium(outragousley priced for what you get), maybe Crystal's CMPX2(expensive, not my favourite though)....and maybe Boston Acoustics' Pro Series(good for SQ, but doesnt get too loud...Brahma kills it)

Adire doesn't build anything with a SPL standpoint alone.. it all comes straight from sounding good. The added linear displacement gives you the SPL function.

Remember, anyone can make a car fart, few can do that, yet turn it down and make it sound like an accurate musical reproduction.

Brahma is an excellent sound quality driver. Ask Bob Beatty about that, being SLAP Pro Street Expert dBQ+ 2002 World champion, with a brahma in the back of his vehicle. (goes under the handle Tweetermanager on soundillusions.net)

brahma's are one of the best sound quality sub around. i would say one of the top 5 SQ subs out there. for the money you pay, you get one of the best sound quality and some loud banging SPL.
