12in 2006 L7 Tuning Question

I just brought two 12in l7's and was wondering what would be a good tuning for them? I searched and was thinking about 5cb ft @ 35hz does that sound good?

higher tuning, bigger box, take it up to 6 cubes @ 40 hz ( mine is 4.6 cubes @ 30 hz but its just not loud enuf for my tastes)

well dont get me wrong 5 cubes will still get plenty loud, but like the other guy said, tune around 38-40 hz , tuning to 30 hz was a big mistake for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif now im stick with this until i build another box

ok i think ill go with 36 though because i rember polecat saying they would louse sq around 38+

just so ya know, subwoofers will always be able to play the low's thats what they are designed to do, its the higher notes 50 cycles and above that start to lack when you tune so low, like in some songs like "north north" by project pat i dont get alot of bass in that song where as a shitty prefab with some sony xplod 10s will totally destory that song just because the prefab's tuned to some outragously high hz ...
