1200 watt amp

i just purchased a 1200 watt amp, and 2 2600 watt subwoofers.. would that work out? Or should I just buy another 1200 watt amp to equal it out a little?

The amp is a Power ACOUSTIK STAX1200/4 and the subs are Power Acoustik p3-12w 12" ... I know its not the best, just wanted a little bang for the buck l0l

What are you going to pay for it? Somewhere around $250?

Chances are you can get a quality amp and run a single sub for the same price as the junk PA amp and the junk PA subs. In the end it will be cheaper to do it right the first time.

yeah something like 250.. i already ordered the amp, i mean i can return it, but just for store credits... so what would be a quality amp and sub for the same price i was going to pay for the PA??

Depends on your goals (SQ, SQL, SPL). Where did you get the amp from? Can you cancel the order?
