12 W7 and 500/1

I want to run the above setup. Just wondering if the 500/1 will power that monster? I went to a local audio shop and they were trying to convince me to get a Hyphonics 1500 watt but I really want to stay w/ the 500/1 if possible.

The 500/1 will certainly work, however IMHO I think you will want to go a little bigger. (Perhaps 1000/1)?

Give it more power. It is geared a little more towards SPL than the W6. 500rms will be fine, but i would send a good 1krms to it in a nice ported box if i were you.
