12 SX vs 12 IDMAX

can someone comment on the above claim (post #5) where they mention the idMAX is louder sealed. is this true? before i got my idMAX i was told to put my idmax in a ported enclosure so that itll wang and still maintain sound quality... is it really true the idmax is louder in a sealed enclosure?

i have a Question i have 2 10" sx's with a 2400 watt volfenhag amp with a 1.0 farad capacitor in a slot ported box should i go ahead and go with a bandpass box or stay with the slot ported one????

yea ive seen that dozens of time.. i guess that shows that that statement was not true.. ported yields greater output.. but i think i shouldve went sealed cuz its such a flatter frequency response. i just got my RTA and upon measuring my system i found a huge peak at 31.5 hz (my enclosure is tuned to 32hz)!
