a q will destroy a w7 on any day.

my god if you think alpine can hit low notes wait until you get a real sub!! this sub has high excursion abilities and stays extremely clear with that excursion. look up some youtube vids of them.

I know it won't be easy to find but if you get the chance, get an LMS 4000. It fits most of your criteria. I believe it would be exactly what you're looking for.

That Q sounds nice too, I might have to try one of those someday.

they are made to play the lows. hence the long throw and low Fs....

check out ssa forums and go to the fi section. they will tell you everything you need to know about an fi q.
