This sub is in really good mechanical shape. There are 2 holes in the surround. I called JL and they said to use a silicon based adhesive to seal it up. I forget exactly what I used but i put a layer on the back on the surround as well as the front. I let it sit for about 48 without any power to it. That was maybe 8 months ago. I have had a Kenwood 9102d on it ever since I got it. The sub has held up great with no issues. Really good SQ with great low end. The most it ever saw was 6/700 AT MOST.

The box was originally built for a 12" type-r. the specs are 2.0ft^3 @ about 29-30hz after displacement from the type-r. I realize the box is way too small and tuned to low for the W7, but it is a quality box none the less. Me and my dad made it using 3/4" mdf and 45ing all the corners. I painted it black then put on about 5 layers of poly on the front and 2-3 layers on the sides. It is a great box but heavy! It has a few scuffs. One main one on the front and the corners are a little rough.

SUB- I am interested in pickup only because I would rather not mess with shipping and paypal. If you are really interested and you arent local gimme a pm. $300 locally.

BOX- If you want just the box, it will be $50 locally. If you want the sub and the box together it will be $325 locally.

Here are some new pictures. I went ahead and removed the older sealant (took a while to do it right). I also put some new sealant on there and it feels very smooth and makes the straight scratch harder to see.
