I agree...sound room is the worst way to base decidions on...at least 'some' of the sound rooms I have seen. JL makes top notch gear, and it will sound totally different in a car. Never go by sound room listening sessions, imo they are only good to show the speaker actually moves. Why bother critical listening or critiquing when its going to sound totally different in your car. Even side-by-side comparisons on a sound board dont help much, as the in-car environment may effect each speaker differently.
