12" Subwoofers....? Help

I am looking to put 6 12" subs in my truck... I was leaning towards the Pioneer TSW-5ooo's...... it's not competition is for loud deep bass that travels very far as the truck is gonna be in shows...... i have 3 us amps 2000x............ To all the experts please suggest if anything would be better.. i want it to be loud at the same time be deep.

Why 6 12's?
Why not 3 15's or 2 18's?

6 12's, and especially those, seem like a silly choice for your criteria

never heard anyone say those pioneers get low
i have 4 15" strokers the old ones right now but i want my back seat, not really too low around 32-33hz i guess. but i want it to be an upgrade louder than the strokers..... suggest something different

Those strokers are old....

There's plenty of modern speakers that have far exceeded their performance.

Even the new strokers have much improved performance, let alone the stroker pro's, which have 40mm+ xmax each way.

I'm not telling you 12's are a bad way to go, but there's plenty out there that will give you what you're looking for without so many drivers, and i don't think the pioneers are going to give you anywhere near the 'deep' bass you're looking for.

i want the best of both worlds... loud and deep

i think we have different opinions on what loud is..... i have a friend who has 2 powered by i believe audiotek or something like that 3000 watt amps.... don't get me wrong it's loud but just not loud enough for me

well, for a start, what sort of numbers were the 4 strokers putting up?

Don't discount install in what kind of sound you or your friend are making.

I just pulled a pair of 15" L7's out of my car because they were only putting up a 143.3 with 1kw a piece in 9 cubes, while there's people putting up 150's with a single 10" L7, but my peak was only 40hz.

But what sort of numbers were you putting up, just for some reference of what exactly, loud, is to you?

And i'm not trying to beat around the bush, big numbers are doable with just about anything, but to put up big numbers, while still tuning low is going to require some serious equipment, so what's your idea of loud, and what's your idea of deep?

If you want to tune anywhere in the low 30's while hitting 50's, i don't think those pioneers are going to do it. You're gonna be looking at things more in the category of solo-x's and xxx's to hit those numbers down low.
