12" subs with small ported box / enclosures

i tried doing a search but nothing pops up when u type in '12" box small ported enclosure'. any recommendations? im looking for something that can fit in a 1 -1.25 cu foot ported box. any recomendations for 10" small box subs are needed too ( something in the 0.5 - 0.75 cu foot range). thanks for the help fellas....... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

DC subs use relatively small airspace. It's usually about 1.5 per 12 and 1 cube per 10.

thanks buck, but i would think 1.5 cubes for a ported 12 is normal. i wonder if 1.75 -2 cu ft would be the "optimal" size for them

Yes ive heard em in person they dont sound cheap at all. I wouldnt put over 400 watts on em put they have this deep bass that you dont get with cheap woofers in that price range. Its a 48 dollar investment you have that while u wait on your custom spl sub. They really surprised me tho i didnt start suggestin them till i heard em for my self. A guy had 2 in a small azz sealed box on a chity 400 watt jensen and i promise they sounded better than some kicker/ cheap rf garbage. Will you do hair tricks no, but they actually add a musical depth to the low end.
